MPG Dodge 5.9l, F250 Diesel?

I am looking for a new USED truck.

I was wondering what people are getting mpg wise with a dodge quad cab, 4x4, 5.9?

How about the same truck with the 5.7?

I am also wondering what people are getting for mpg with a 99-05 extended cab f250 diesel and what size motor?

There are A LOT of powerstroke fans on stuntlife. Expect some biased opinions soon.

I am going to go with a 00-03 f250 7.3.

Looking for something local, unless of course it's a REALLY good deal.

I just found it and sent him a pm.

Hopefully more people get in here, I would like more input about the f250 with the 7.3 and what everyone got mpg wise.

depends on what you got done.

8" lift, sittin for 40" tires, 5 stage edge programmer and exhaust/intake get about 20 on freeway and 16 around town. (no full throttle everywhere)

Thanks man, nice truck! The only 3 people I have heard from all have a lift and big tires and are still getting around 20!
