sti....insurance nightmare, crash basicly im gonna make short and long version
: but before this id like to state my pos 06 sti still beat the crap out of a evo today by 3 car lengths......now my nightmate
short:
I own a 06 sti that wrecked because people dont know when to put the keys away when there drunk. insurance goes to fix the car, 22,000g later i get it back, tonight lifted her up. she was havin turbo issues so i wanted to see if the exhaust was bent. look at the motor mount its broken! not jsut snapped like gone.....with rust on the breaks showing its from the wreck!!!!!!!!!!!!1 couldnt tell at all with no motor shake or sound, but wtf!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When i was coming onto a off camber turn getting onto the freeway a car ran a red light and almost plowed into my car. so i slammed on the brakes to avoid the guy, being the poor college kid i had some shitty tires on a sti(bad idea i know). So with the corner off camber the car slide with the rear end coming around hte passange side. i corrected but the camber sent the car into a uncontrolled spin and before i could stop it....AHHHHHHH. The front of the car went through a guard rail, took out a chain link fence, and launched the car over a small hump and took out a tree in mid air. the police report shows how there are no tire marks from where i hit the curb untile 20 feet later after the tree.... . if course the *** hole ran off.
INSURANCE NIGHTMARE:
So the insurance company picks up the car and im thinking alright gap insurance this biatch is totaled. Where talking about the frame was bent and the whole car was destroyed beyond bealife....pics below. They sent me to sum shop in az called A&B auto body. This show wasnt what i expected, it looked more like a shiiii hole. But the insurance swore the best work they have seen came outta this shop. Me being new to the area was like ok lets see what they adjust it as.
They started saying it will cost 5 grand to fix it, standing infront of the body guy and insurance adjuster....."haha are u a ******* idiot". They didnt like that, "The frames bent and so are the wheels, see those....say it BBS....like 3 grand to replace all the wheels". They told me they werent replacing them but reforging. So they readjusted it, the 2nd day i came back. They told me 8g's to fix it, so they added a few grand. I looked at the insurance adjuster and was like, "dude im telling you, im a tech and seen cars like this before.....This is totaled you are going to eat the cost of this trust me". Finaly after going back and forth for a month and a half i got the adjustment close to 14grand, figuring they would total it out due to the worth of the car.
But the insurance said they didnt wanna total the car and i should say ok to the work. After me swearing for two hours, they called the other person on the lease and got approvale. I get a call 6months later saying its done. I showed up and it looked not to shabby.....form a far. But upclose the clear coat was horrid, and the whole paint was filled with dirt dryed into it....hell did they paint it in a dust storm outside??? To make it shorter after the 3rd time back and they not fixing anything I just took the car. Called the head of the insurance company for az division and he told me to take it to another shop, "its ok sir well fix it till your satisfied no matter what". After 22 grand spent at the shop(kelly blue book already), i sent it to another shop.
They didnt fix anything, even made it worst and charged the insurance company 2 grand saying thats all they would aprove it for. So i cant get a hold of the insurance guy. And i have taken it to subaru cause they dont bealive a 20 year old guy even if hes worked on cars for 6 years....nah im just to young. So the tech at subaru went through it and said the rear end was still bent. Which we though, just have it in paper work.

Recently I have had a problem with boost issues, so im figureing the exhaust is bent and the idiots dont know what a dent looks like when they inspected it. So i figured i would flush the coolant out to while im at it. Pulled the front cover off the motor to find the motor mount was hanging on by a thread litterly. But ther was no motor shake yet, or clunking, so it was kinda a shock....but a few more miles and it woulda been gone. NOW IM LIVEDLY PISSED ITS 230 AND I HAVE NO BIKE BECAUSE THATS WAITING ON PARTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

there in the mail thanxs though...hopefuly be here tuesday...u know any good spots...i keep getting booted outta everywhere i go
i was gonna drive the car, but if that mount goes my cylinder head is going to be laying on my A arm. its not just the rubber but the actual metal for the mount that went...dam flat 4's
. if i had a welder id temp fix it but thats in cali.

I'm sorry, I couldnt follow all that, but 22k to fix the car?!?!?! why wouldnt they just total the car out? You'd think for the 30k+ you have to spend on one of those that that even though the tires were "shitty" that either the giant ******* brembo brakes or the AWD system could of helped a little at least.

thats why there is a short and long version. u want even shorter? car break, insurance **** rapes me, car still broken
.the sti's actualy handle bad *** in the corners, when ure expecting to hit the brakes, but when that car came at me i was not expecting it and probly was focused on the girl in my front seat
whats amasing with 3 bent rims and two fucked up shocks she still drove straight home......whats gay is im stuck at home with no car or ride anymore

tryed it, the guy they gave me the phone number to wont pick up, about to call the BBB and set up for a lawsuit. if he doesnt pick up tomorow then im going to the BBB, there sue happy
