A little help?

just got a 2000 chevy 2500. 6.0L. I had it parked outside the garage turned off for awhile and noticed and wet spot on the ground. pretty big.

now, it doesnt have an odor or color (i think its just water) but i figured somebody might know what it is. it was coming from what appeared to be the heater core. (i am not used to new trucks at all and dont have the manuel yet).

anyway, is that common? im not worried or anything but i did think that it was a lot of fluid to just drip out, ya know..

Re: A little help?

alright, that makes me feel better. i just thought it looked like a lot of fluid. I am mildly inclined mechanically, but have no experience with anything newer then about '91. haha. in fact i havent had a car or truck whos A/C actually worked on a normal basis.

anyway, thanks guys.

Re: A little help?

It's condensation off the evaporator .

Every a/c on a car/truck does it and has a drain tube (to drain the water away from the vehicle and usually you can see the drain on the firewall ) .
