I assume you mean which is more intertaining..

i would always say streetbike freestyle.
I am yet to rock the sick $hit you guys rock, but i am trying to improve all of the time. The vids you all put out are more intertaining in my mind than watching some motocross chit.

easiest poll ever.

streetbike freestyle. i love it.

wow factor? there is shitloads of wow factor after everytime i watch a video from redline extreme, or crazy dan, or triple xtreem. (even after i already have the WHOLE video memorized)

you dont even have to be super pro godly like some of the teams on here or out there.
mark doing circle highchairs..ill never forget when i saw that.

Re: what's better???

Shugga said it perfectly! I loved watching the high speed combos of stunters
now its all slow tricks. I understand slow is harder but us spectators need a big WOW factor and watching moto freestyle definatley gives that.

Re: what's better???

sorry fellas...had to do it...had to vote for streetbike racing. i agree that the tech stuff that i appreciate so much has made freestyle a little less exciting, tho it was basically tied for first. i've got this dude named Rossi on my mind...wondering what kind of magic he'll pull out of his ****. i gotta give it up to these guys though, considering their crashes are a little crazier...200mph? +? also, i don't know of any dude who's died on a closed-course freestyle comp....

With dirt its crazy to watch, "OMG THAT GUYS ABOUT TO DIE!!! What a sick ****ing wacko!"

Street is boring, "HOLY ****!! IF HE CRASHES HES GONNA BREAK A BRAKE LEVER OR MOTOR COVER!! NOOOO NOOOO DONT SCRATCH YOUR BIKE!!!"

get the point? That will explain the # of fans at a show too.
Good point!

Re: what's better???

Shugg is throwing out some good ****, its just hard for alot of us to handle becuase we are in the mix. SHUGG I SEE THE BUSINESS MAN COMING OUT!!!

The point is we have to think outside ourselves for this sport to ever take off. For this to grow its no longer about what WE think, its about what the people that are going to pay the admissions and buy all the shwag think. Of course we all know the tech. chit blows our minds more than some guy flying down the highway at 90 mph in a stand-up.
But think about this......

Basing your decision PURELY on the adrenaline factor, what gets your heart racing more.....seeing some dude rockin a controlled 70 - 80 mph highway, highchair wheelie or seeing the same guy rollin seatstander circles with no handbrake.
Ofcourse you immediately think "**** that dude is off the hook, seatstander circles with no handbrake" Tech. as **** right. But the high speed highchair wheelie gets your heart racing more, no question.
The avg. mom with her two teeanage kids (that will take this sport to the next level) dotn know **** about how tech it is to pull off some of the **** you guys do, much less, they dont care. Therefore the only way to WOW them (until we get to that next level and everyone is more educated about the sport) is going back to the old highspeed "holy **** thats nuts" tricks.
I agree with Shugg 110%.
What we like, unfortunately, is not what will sell this sport.

Re: what's better???

As Both A Street Freestyler And A Freestyle Motocross Rider I Will Have Go With Freestyle Mx On This One Because Of The Backflip And The 360. Who Would Ever Thought Someone Would Try Flipping A 200lbs Bike, And Turning It 360 Degrees. Now All They Do Is Take Those Tricks And Make Them Into Combo's. Pastrana Is Doing The Backflip Superman. The Insanity Level Keeps Going Up In The Mx World.

I've gotta say street freestyle. Every time I see a headlight pointed towards the sky I just get that feeling. You know what I'm talkin about.

Re: what's better???

the other day my boy did a little show for this shop that had just opened. he was killin circles , 8s , no handers , they were yawning as soon as the back tire broke loose they went nuts. me and my boy were like what the **ck . but its the stupid $hit that catches on. next time you see calvin pissing on a ford or chevy simble think.... they don't know how hard it is to feather a clutch through a circle , but they know that the smoke is cool and thats some loud $hit. oh well not stopping me.

Re: what's better???

It depends on what you define as "better"
Slow street stuff needs a lot of skill, and balance........
Freestyle needs huge *****, skills........

I voted moto-x, its damn near always a good, exciting race, filled with action. Being a Off roader, I have to admit that regardless how big the wow effect, even FMX becomes slightly boring......like with all stunting.
Not to diss stunting, but it takes more and more to keep pleasing people.
Who'd be impressed by a 100ft endo after seeing Kanone ripping it up with a freakin 700footer!?

Re: what's better???

I grew up on the dirt and I think that street freestyle is deff harder to learn and takes more skill, I like to watch them both, but if it had to be one or the other I like the streetbike chit more.

Re: what's better???

you always see jump here jumps there but you rarely see someone high chair circle'n on a street bike that is not ment to do, i rather see something different for once and this stunt's are dope but when it come's to stunt freestyle i rather see the technical part like circle combo's and stuff that is where its at also straight long combo's those are dope
