I voted for endo but I have to admit when I came off the dirt and a street bike guy said his friend did and endo I thought ooooooo, was he hurt. But now it's really the same to me.

 

For years we called a stoppie a rolling endo and an endo was basically when a squid tries a stoppie and hits the front brake at like 5mph and almost flips over- actually they both work for me though.

So we are rollin past this camp fire party out in the boonies, and my boyz pull up some sic wheelies, since that's already been done I roll an endo by the crowd. We go back for a free beer, (hey! We accepted a gratuity for a stunt, now we're pros!) and one of the guys at the party asked "which one of you guys got his wheelie backwards?" I say "I did" He looks at me dead serious, not smart enough to breath through his nose and says "you know what's gonna happen if that goes on over?"

So the correct term, according to the slack jawed yockel I met at the hillbilly bond fire, where I really expected them to be skinning a deer, is "got the wheelie backwards." There, now you know.

 

i call em endos. to me stoppies sound like something my 2 yr old daughter would do. "Daddy I went stoppie again" then again I guess that is better then "Daddy, Jake gave me an endo last night"....

Endo= End over end...or rear end over the front end....or you fall down and go boom...I call em stoppies or rolling stoppies....but I do like the popastoppie term also....

Some skater kids asked me to do a Nollie the other day... I was thinking to myself... WTF IS A NOLLIE???? Then I remeber my skateboarding days and told em, no but I'll bust out a 360 kick flip mctwist and wheelie this biatch backwardz... they just walked away.

Stoppie means you stop at the end (hence the name).
Endo means you let it down and keep riding.
People who BMX call both a nose wheelie.

 

Weird I thought stoppies where when you stop and the rear wheel gets air and the endo is when the rear wheel raises and you ride it out..
