lets beat a dead horse
lets beat a dead horse
Lets just say that I know someone that knows someone who just won the lottery and wants to invest or just had a great uncle die and leave me a lot of money or no its ( ah screw it. really it is just a pipe dream).
I know people have talk a lot about building the perfect lot. Lets say someone built a lot that had different sections in it like a 1000 x200 section for longest stoppie comps. or straight line combos then another section like 350x350 for regular stunting. Then a section that is like 600x300 for beginners and a small section just for small bikes like the 50s. And it had a service and sales center where you can get your bike worked on and get all of your stunt related parts and clothes and gear. Say it had a state of the art camera system that you could buy videos and still shots of your ride. Was open from like 8 am to 3 am for you to ride. Had a ball park style concession stand for food and drinks. Had all of the proper motor sports permits so that you did not have to worry about saying ftp because they cannot say anything about what you were doing. Say it held comps by monthly or so with cash prizes. All of this was divide out with barriers so you do not have to worry about a bike from another area coming in when they lose it (just have to watch the people in your area).
If you had something like this would you be willing to pay to ride like they do in the motor cross parks and in the wildlife riding areas and skate parks? there is alot of talk about making stunting easier on public opinion so we really need to do something like this!!
If so how much would you be willing to pay to practice per day?

Re: lets beat a dead horse
The fact is there would be tons of squids out there and people would still just go to there lot to ride to stay away from dumb asses... Thats just my reason but there are a ton more...
Re: lets beat a dead horse
Not this bullshit again. Check out what this costs before posting ridiculous **** like this. And as T/C said, the lot would be filled up with squids so good riders would go find private spots anyways. Cop problems are not the only lot problems. Squids that leave garbage are more of an issue in some locations than cops. It's those idiots that get you booted from a spot.

so have a nice day, give it some thought and tell what you really think.
Re: lets beat a dead horse
that is alot of the reasons we need something like this. it is bullshit that everyone keeps talking about it and not doing it. cost yes. rough estimates are looking around $500,000 for what i am talking about to get started up and in order to get any kind of a business plan together to get something like this going we need the riders that keep saying that this is a legit sport to quit being dicks and start trying to make something real happen to make it look like we are trying to make it a legit sport. otherwise we are all just a bunch of biker punks rocking the streets(fun as that is) causing a bunch of trouble and will never get the backing of the people that we need to get it from.

But as i see it.. No one is going to put down that kinda money on it ... And alot of people wont want to ride there... Thread
