Stunting A Stock Bike?
Heyy whats up I'm from NYC and it seems in my local stunt area people are stunting and they are proud that they are doing it on a stock bike ie no 3rd brake or sprockets and well im torn between fitting in by riding a stock bike or going for a full fledged stunt bike. I would like a few opinions on this before i get my bike.

Don't bring a knife to a gun fight.
Point?
Ask yourself what you want to do, what fight you want to be in.
In my opinion nothing is cheating. It all helps you become a better proformer.
Only downfall I see is learning some tricks before really learning good throttle controll. I/E H/C or Spreaders with a handbrake.
I think you have earned your handbrake when you can do coasters over 300 feet or so...
Just my thoughts. But I am old school....

learn bp wheelies and brake control stock. once you get there, consider gearing and all that jazz. HB only after you set a few off the pegs things on the tail or bar, definately get throttle control first.
