I can say I honestly love my Gixxer6 but would buy an F4i to stunt!! But on the track when Im on GSXR all i can say is.....Here, honda, honda, honda!! :YEAH
My mate cut a chunk out of his top fairing stay thingo and had it welded back together to make it shorterby a bloke who makes fences... still not 100% sure on why he dd it though.

My father has been welding since he was 15. hes 45 now. He has welded 2 2/1000 inch thick pieces of aluminum together. Don't ask me where he got the metal, but he did it. He made a tower of pop cans. TIG welding is THE ONLY WAY to weld thin aluminum. Mig is to powerfull and needs to be specialy rigged to weld aluminum.

Re: Is A Gixxer A Piece Of ****? Vote Now!!!!!

it all depends what you do to it , like what extras you throw on it , if you stick a power commander on it , and a wideband sensor with lambda switch to the exaust ,,the street becomes a dyno,, and you can remap whenever you do summat new to the bike ,,my 03' 1000 scares the crap outta me ,,but i've never come of it ,, i've never ridden a 750, so cant say about them .. it seems the suzuki bars are a little wider than with the honda's,, and the seats a bit higher ,,so it depends weather you're a lanky **** like me .....it also depends weather the bike is restriced or not,, i've got the canadian one,,and a 'g-pack' to stop the rev-restriction from working,.. i have to say that the '05-'06 bike looks a bit chinese and plasticy tho' ....

Re: Is A Gixxer A Piece Of ****? Vote Now!!!!!

as with most ' stock' bike's, there's a list of things to do, to get it right, gixxers brakes ****,needs better disks, ebc pads and billet master cylinders, the clutch lever sucks, needs a short pull one. yoshimura cam and valve springs sorts the engine out,,, and the exhaust sucks also,,but for power ,theyre great, the honda954's have better front disks, and amazing swing arms,,the swing arm on '05 gixxers sucks,, ive done 17000 miles on my gsxr k3 1000 and it still rips,,sure its not the best bike for stunts , weak rear subframe and too much power and way too front heavy,, but its a race bike huh.

Re: Is A Gixxer A Piece Of ****? Vote Now!!!!!

frames and motors are the most important thing about a bike, believe me, i've been rockin suzuki since day one and it has definitely taken a beating, but there is nothing out there that will take a beating quite like a honda will, i mean, i hardly ever crash and i've got cracks in my frame, subrame, and motor, do yourself a favor and get a honda if you want to get anywhere in the stuntgame.

Re: Is A Gixxer A Piece Of ****? Vote Now!!!!!

Ive got an 04 gixxer 6 and its taken some hard blows from tryin to learn circles and all I have had to have welded up was the subframe but it was broken when I baught it but since getting it reinforced I have hit it several times trying to get idle seat standers on lock as for the upper fairing stay I sold that before I could break it I blew my first motor because I oil starved it so bad that you could be on idle and hear it rattleing so I baught a motor with only a 1k miles on it and have been running a stunttex in it for almost a month so im hopeing it will last till next spring because I will probbrably get an F4I
