just broke my subframe completely off tonight, broke while in a ss just before i jumped to spreader...almost threw me off balance... my high mount is the only thing that held it to the frame ...i hate when crap breaks on the street..i'll post up some pics later

Good god, you held your subframe/frame together by a high mount? That is crazy... I want to make a set of these for a gixxer and see how they hold up. I just need a gixxer to commondeer for a day =p I willget some pics up of the f4i braces.

yeah...all thats holding them on is an ALUMINUM EAR on the frame thats weak as ****...here is a pic of a friends broken subframe after he put it on the bar

i finally broke my frame on the my Kawi the other day.. the bottom subframe mount...
tsk tsk..
thats what i get though for not having it braced.. i smacked it pretty hard a few times though.. i had it comming..
my gsxr was a crack happy bike.. but then again my kawi isnt much better...
im really hard on my bikes though i guess.. im wreck happy..

I bent the subframe on this bike and I really messed up the sub on the 1000RR. I was learning and looped a bunch of slow wheelies because I didn't know what the brake was at all at that time.

yeah i got some cracks in my frame,
i've done many upon many 12's and still no problems with the subframe though.
the only time i ever let that bar touch is when i'm 100% sure that its going to be a smooth, precise thing.
