parting out my 98 900 under 6k miles
I’m parting out my yellow 1998 CBR 900 RR with only ***5712*** miles on it. Bike was low sided and went into grass witch resulted in some fork damage. I don’t have the money to pay for new plastics and forks.
The parts that are absolutely perfect on this bike are the entire motor( with the exception of the left side cover scratches), the radiator and all hoses, , upper and lower triples, rear sub-frame, rear seat, front seat, tail light, passenger pegs, rear sets, brake lever, heal guards, front brakes, rear brakes, rear rotor, rear rim, swing arm, carburetors (tuned 2 hrs b4 crash), air box, clutch basket assembly, clutch inner cover, ignition pickup cover, front and rear sprockets, right rear tail plastic, front right lower plastic, v-dam plastic, inner fuse cover panel plastics, stock foot pegs, front and rear race stands, complete tool kit, Clymer shop manual, smoke windscreen, custom cut rear under tail with strobes Pirelli Diablo front and rear tires only 1200 miles on each, complete wire harness, 4 bulbs for flush mount turn signals, headlight bulbs, one good 2 wire amber bulb flush mount turn signal, stock exhaust, stock exhaust header, yosh rs3 exhaust.
Parts that aren’t quite in perfect condition would be the carbon fiber brake and clutch levers (scratches on ends), left side lower plastic one mounting tab broke but I have it, rear left tail plastic, some rash and crack in center no holes or tabs broke, front right mid plastic no rash just a crack in the center (no broken tabs or mounting holes), stock bar ends, Toby steering damper (main shaft bent but might be able to get replacement from Toby, $370 damper), mirrors ( slight scratches no cracks) any nut and bolt you can get your hands on.
