929 tip sensor

929 tip sensor

ok, i did a search already, couldnt find anything, checked the archives nothing. So hopefuly someone can help me, where is the tip sensor, and how do you bypass it.

Re: 929 tip sensor

Lift the tank up to get to it. Its mounted on the bracket which the tank is mounted to by the riders seat. Its a square black box about 3-4 inches in height length and width. Unplug it--there are 3 wires going into the sensor. Snip the sensor from the wires. Connect the 2 outer wires together and leave the middle wire alone to bypass it. Good Luck.
