Exhaust choices

i know this isnt really stunt related but, I have an 04 gixxer 600 and im looking for an exhasut for it, but there are alot of choices and i want the best looking and sounding. i doubt many of yall still roll around with a stock exhaust so tell me whats the best choice for my bike.

Re: Exhaust choices

I like the Yoshimura pipes... Two brothers sounds really nice as well. D&D are loud as ****. But in all honesty if you plan on stunting... just rock the stock. It's cheaper to replace!

Re: Exhaust choices

depending on the pipe i think you can get as much as 5 more hp out of an exhaust setup. i personally like d&d pipes. they aren't really "high performance" pipes per se but they are loud as ****. also, when you put your pipe on you should get a k&n air filter and jet your bike at the same time. helps keep everything equal....not to mention performance goes through the roof.

Re: Exhaust choices

With a gixxer the world is pretty much yours. Without the exhaust valve system you can improve power and response greatly and even the gixxers with the valve system they are the only bike out there that isn't effected poorly by full system exhausts. So if I were you, I would consider a full system since you can.

How's he gonna jet a fuel injected bike?....

If you're gonna stunt, keep the stock exhaust so you don't make a lot of noise.

I like the stock exhaust cut. my F4i didnt get much louder at all cutting the exhaust. Reweld it so there are no leaks. And your stealth 12'in

Re: Exhaust choices

Had a Micron on the Gixxer, very nice indeed, now have a Titanium Yoshi and i would put anything else on it. But if you are serious on stunting the last thing you want is your bike to make a heap of noise and attract attention everywhere you go. Thats how you get in trouble. Just my GMB

Re: Exhaust choices

Hey, what if you can only afford a slip-on for the time being, but would eventually like to get a full system, is there any way you can put a slip-on on the bike but later add the header pipes to it to make it a full system?
