MY DAM BRAKES KEEP SQEEKING !

I TRIED THIS DISC BRAKE QUIET STUFF THAT YOU SPRAY ON THE BACK OF THE BRAKE PADS BUT IT DIDNT MAKE IT STOP.

ITS AN 02 GSXR 1000 AND THE REAR BRAKE.

ANYHELP IS APRECIATED.

Re: Sqeeky Brakes !!!!!!!!!!

when brake pads start to get low a lot of them have something built in that makes them sqeek, mine have been squeeking for over 1k, I just replaced them though, even though they seemed to have plenty of meat left on em.
If you get some new pads it will probably stop, if it doesn't then it's got to be your rotor.

Re: Sqeeky Brakes !!!!!!!!!!

GSXR 1000's are wierd like that. You can put in the same exact brand/grade of pads and all of the sudden they will squeak......and it is the most annoying squeak possible. Just try scuffing or switching pads again or even your rotor to a different one.

Re: Sqeeky Brakes !!!!!!!!!!

my brakes were squeaking on my 750 and i ended up taking the calipers off and pushing the pads in as far as they would go. i bled the brakes again and it stopped squeaking. i had to let out a ton of fluid in order to push the pads back too. hope this helps, at least it will only take a couple mins to check out.

Re: Sqeeky Brakes !!!!!!!!!!

Just my ,but if you have changed the pads twice and no luck, perhaps it's the rotor

I normally run DP'S "DUNLOPAD", WENT TO A PAIR OF EBC HH'S and i was like nah never again, they grab too hard and are very squeky. I talked to emrock the other night and he said he runs oem pads, so u cant go wrong there. Alot of people want there pads to last a long time, but i would rather have a softer pad the wears quicker, so my brakes will be less noisy and touchy...
