hey,
i have a 04 yamaha R6, i want to put a pipe on it for a nice deep sound. my boy has a GSX 600 and has a D&D and it sounds nice. ive also been told that micron and yoshimura's are better, what Brands and models would best fit my bike, thnx in advance -DJ-

D&D Sounds a bit more throaty I think..

I like how the Two Brothers sounds...loud and deep

Akrapovic isn't as loud..but it sounds very "performance"-y

Check out October's issue of Sport Rider they did a test on an 04 R6 with over 30 pipes...they have the sound clips on their website sportrider.com

Devil makes a double barrel pipe for that bike that is sic. I have a friend who has one on his r6 and it looks pimp and sounds awesome. here's a pic

I have an '02 R6. I have a slip-on carbon fiber Micron pipe. It's not to loud. It has a nice mid range sound, nothing too high pitch and raspy. Nice quality product as well.

i've got an 04 R6 and i rock the GYT-R slip on with pride. it's got an awesome tone and the brushed aluminum looks sweet.

I've got an 04 R6 with a yoshimura RS-3 on it. Sounds really nice and looks damn good. My buddy has a two brothers exhaust on his gixxer and that sounds pretty nice as well. It's all up to you and your price range. anything sounds better than stock!

I've heard a slip on yoshi and a bolt on Micron. Yoshi sounds way cleaner but the Micron sounds way louder.
