problems cluchin 2nd.....

problems cluchin 2nd.....

ok..so i just got a 02 750(it was chrashed and rebult)...i can cluch the **** out of it in 1st...but 2nd... no matter what the r's are or how far back i sit the fu(kin thing won't come up......any one have any clue by the way it is stock gearing...i know that really shouldn't matter...

do a search, this question is asked 45 times a day with every different type of bike.. im sure youll find something...

yeah your right it shouldent matter ......unless your a bigger guy ''lol'' my gixxer i had to go up 3 in the back and then it was all good you may not be a bigger guy but im 250lb's and i need the bigger gearing to make it happend with easy ..........other wise i was trying so ****ing hard and it was so much easyer with the 3 up and that was on a 96 750 and you wont loose to many R's

i'm only 175.........i have no problem cluchin 2nd on my r6......that's why it don't make no damn sense...

there's a sticky that should answer all of your questions. you might be revvin' too high. in 2nd on my 636, i clutch it at about 6-7k goin' about 30-40. don't be a ***** and roll on that throttle. it WILL come up, no matter how much you weigh. now go out there and ride all day until you get 'em down. practice, practice, practice.

that sounds kinda weird man, mostly because you say you can clutch up an R6 in second. Are you making sure your tires are warmed up? I wouldn't that would be a big deal though with a 750.
Does it feel like it has the power that a 750 should, just taking off and stuff? You said it's rebuilt, so the only thing that I can think is maybe someone do put it together right. The jetter needles might be wrong or something like that.

I would take it and have it dynoed just to make sure it's putting out the horsepower that it should be, then go from there. Good luck man.
