dirt bike bars!!!!!!
can someone tell me how they put mx bars on their 929?
my brakes won't come close to reaching and my clutch cable only works if the bars are turned to the right. putting mx bars on seems the way to go but damn is it hard.

Re: dirt bike bars!!!!!!
Get the lowest bars you can.
I used two left brake lines I had lying around from a 900RR. I wanted to keep the lengths the same so both calipers grabbed equally due to expansion..just a theory.
I think i re-routed the clutch line over the motor mount bolts and around the front. It is tight...A +2" from Barnett would be the ticket.
You will have to run the throttle cables different also. You have to drill a hole in the bars for the throttle assy. Rotate the kill switch forward...I had mine facing up and opened my legs doin a H/C and hit the kill switch....that equates into madd trauma.

Re: dirt bike bars!!!!!!
For your clutch line get a 919 cable from honda. It will be cheaper than barnett and will come in quicker, as well as being the right length. The 919 had hi-bars to begin with. I'm running one on mine, and know of other doing the same.
