help ... snapped front bolts on o3' gixxer..

I have a question.. i have been doing alot of wheelies.. sometimes i come down alittle hard on the front end.. its an 03 gixxer 1000... well anyways.. last time i came down .. the front end felt really lose.. i looked under the handle bars near the steering damper and saw one of the bolts popped out connecting the front end and all the electrical (speedometer ect.) i found a new bolt to put in there.. is was metric i believe..well i thought i fixed the problem.. i mean its only two bolts connecting the two peices.. but the front end still shakes.. like the top ferring. Has anyone else had this problem and whats the overall fix... this is really pissin me off.. i thought this bike could take a million wheelies.. 1 month of wheelies and the bolts fall out..? what.. any help from anyone is appreciated.. thanks

Had the same problem with mine! Noticed it when driving down the highway and saw my headlight just bouncing around and a rattling noise.
Just remove the two bolts and apply lock-tite to them and reinstall. Have not come out since .

Re: help ... snapped front bolts on o3' gixxer..

I can name more problems with my 03 gsxr1k.
Like....squeeky exhaust valve.
Loose throttle cables.
Flaking paint.
Front brake shimmy at low speeds on hard braking.
No tools to remove front wheel in tool kit.
I know these are minor problems, but the dealer didn't do a god damn thing to help out. They told me the front end bolts and brake problem was my fault due to doing wheelies and such.
The thing that really pisses me of is the damn exhaust valve, it's loud.
Every time i turn the key on the valve cycles and squeeks three times.
The dealer just told me to fix it my self.....what the fu(k.

I have the same problem of a loose front end. There is also a rattle I hear at certain rpm's. When I went to tighten everything up I saw I broke off the bolt the holds the radiator to the frame. I pulled out the broken bolt and replaced it but I still hear the rattle and my front end still feels loose. Its really pissing me off. I need help with this too.
