636 riders.............

What mods have some of you guys riding the 636 made to keep it from sucking and choking on oil when running on the bar. Every time my bike runs on the bar for even few seconds, it smokes like a freight train and fouls the plugs.......help please

hahah
The only thing you can really do it reroute the pvc tube into the airbox into some sort of an oil catch can. I haven't done it yet on mine since I don't do lots of bar tricks... I've had it hydrolock on me at a local park once though, and that wasn't the most fun ever.

Re: 636 riders.............

yepp, you should reroute the pvc hose that goes from engine to the airbox. about 15cm of tube. we had a couple engine lockups due this reason- luckily our friendly kawasaki dealer fixed the problem for us

you shoud block the airbox hole with a M10 bolt or something(cant remember exact). the dealer said that the pvc hose from engine should remain open, so they put a longer pvc hose there, routed it over the airbox, over the cooler and it ends in right side of the frame. This keeps the oil in the engine and the tube remains open. sure there might come little amounts of oil from that hose but nothing major. just keep eye on the oil level of your engine

ps. sorry I suck at mechanical vocabulary
