Changing rear Tire

How hard is it to remove the back wheel and tire? I've never had to remove one before until now. I picked up a nail the other day so I just bought a new tire today. My local shop wants 40 bucks if I take my whole bike in, or 20 if I just take the wheel and tire in. Would it be worth the hassle to just take it off myself to save 20 bucks? Btw the bike is a 98' 900rr.

Re: Changing rear Tire

Get a service manual and it will give you step by step instructions. Yes it's worth the hassle because you save money and you gain experience working on your bike.
