my gsxr subframe has been re-welded like 5 times and just keeps braking, what the hell do i do? if anyone can help let me know....

 

Common problem with the Gixxer. Thew from 1096 was re-welded his 10 times. You might wanna invest in a TIG and then you can always fix it and eventually become a great fabricator.

 

That came off kinda Jerkish,,,I appologize. Honestly I really don't know. The only thing I can think of is that there are a lot of euro companies that sell aftermarket frames, maybe consider one of those. I know they make everything from steal trellis to carbon fiber frames. Just run a search for them or pick up a streetfighter magazine.

what kind of cage do you have? If you are breaking the bottom tabs over and over I have a fix that works well but only if you have a powers cage. It invloves running a piece of flat bar from the back cage mount to your passenger peg mounts on the subframe. Works great.

 

Where are you breaking your frame at? Is it the subframe tabs? I'm working on making some bolt on aluminum plates to strenghten my subframe but don't really know what to do about the tabs other then to have them welded up.

yea a TIG machine is worth its weight in gold.. or get a steel frame bike and weld **** to it with a $500 MIG.

my man crazy dan welded plates on the sides of his subframe.

I bolted some leaf springs on my frame so it dampens the impact. and I strapped foam pool noodles along the frame. yea its ghetto shut up

 

Hey, where is it breaking at? Im assuming the bottom mounting tabs right? Post up some pics of your frame damage and post up a pic of your 12 bar...
