resizing avatar pic.... help

does anyone know how to resize a pic on an apple powerbook g4 notebook??? i cant figure it out

it wont even let me post it on here cuz its over 100 kb

rightt click on the pic

"open with" paint
then "paint' will open....in the top tool bar click "image"

then click "stretch/skew"

then HOR 40%
then VERT 40%

save it...tthen post it.

im on an apple laptop, there is no paint... thats why it wont work
