Re: Scrapin'

Don't try to scrape. Try to ride them out really slow using the back brake to keep you where it needs to be.

I was told to learn to coast them out first before I try and scrape, then it should come smooth from there but I had to scrape a few times to say i did it, now I'll try and work on coastin a lil more....a successful scrape WILL be in the near future..... :YEAH

Yeah, hit the brake.

Try moving your foot so that the footpeg is right under your heel instead of the middle of your foot.

i have problems with it twistin on me once in awhile, its all in keepin your throttle and brake steady and consistant. when i rush, i **** up, just try to learn how to walk it nice slow, thats where i fu(ked up, i went for 12 right away and i should have practiced the slow **** first, dont go *** back wards like i did, it only makes it harder...good luck!

Re: Scrapin'

Odd enough, learn brake control. (possibly with a 50, or even just repeat in your head REARBRAKE REARBRAKE)

First day out with my bar on, I tapped it no problem... my friends told me a lot of the times I was like an inch off the bar and by reflex was just tappin the rear brake :D

Gotta love my 50 for learning that **** first.

When you hit your bar do you slide at all or just wreck right away? Post up a pic of your bar...

Re: Scrapin'

i can drag it, when i take my time, there is alot of thought involved in scrapin'throttle, clutch, brake, brake, throttle, brake, brake, im not that good at it, but it takes alot of practice.it doesnt just come naturally for some of us.

so you think ridin a 50 or even a quad will help with brake/throttle control? or is it just a confidence booster?

I know RuffRyder99's bar is perfect..I made it. I used to drag that bike 100 feet sitting ..to a stop...straight as an arrow.
