Tank Denting

Well I just went out and banged on my tank some with a rubber mallet. Looks very nice. I have been having a problem holding on when I do the high chairs and had a little dent in and some grip tape on it. Now I have a large dent just before the gas cap. The metal wrinkled some and the paint cracked in 2 spots but it isnt much of a deal to me. I might just end up finding some nice Krylon and going back over it so now the big dent will cup my *** alot more but I have seen people sit pretty far back, like on top of the gas cap at the back of the tank. Can I get some pro's and con's on how I should start practicing them again. Last time I tried I nearly slipped off.

Sit towards the front in the dent or further back???

Re: Tank Denting

im pretty sure it depends on how long your arms are.

just sit wherever you happen to be with your arms locked on the clip-ons.

lol how is that rhino liner working for yah??? does it rip your pants or anything??? i know when i used skateboard grips it would rip my pants.....
surfboard grip seems to be the best for me though... here it is on my gsxr

and my f4i i dont really see the use for it..... but i know i couldnt do any highchair tricks when the tank was in good condition....... felt really unconfertable..... once its dented its all good

Re: Tank Denting

the rhino liner is great, doesnt fu(k up your pants, and you can still move around on it. not like grip tape, i tried that. with grip tape its hard as hell to rool back onto your tail bone and get a decent spreader.
