Hi Mate, 1st don't get any of this fluid on your paint it will eat it. Also having someone else can help the first few times.

There should be a nipple (small like an 8mm bolt with a hole in the end) you need to get some hose that fits this and a container, crack the bolt loose using a ring spanner (probably 8mm) leave the spanner on there and put the hose over the end of the bold (the one with the hole), Put the other end of the hose in a draining bucket.

At the top of the RH handle bar there should be a container with fluid in it, this is the brake reservoir, open this (being careful not to spill the fluid.

When you pull on the brake leaver it will pump fluid down to the brakes, if the bolt is loose fluid should come out from this.

Procedure:

attach hose as mentioned above, leave bolt tight for now, pump the Brake a few time and hold it in, while holding it in crack the bolt loose and allow some of the fluid to flow out, as you open the bolt the leaver should go limp, tighten up the bolt again then release the leaver slowly counting to 3 as you let the leaver out. as you repeat this over and over again the reservoir will drop keep this topped up with your new fluid, as you watch the fluid come out of the hose you should notice the difference in colour from the old fluid to the new fluid. there you are done, for the final adjustment on the brakes, pull the leaver all the way in the crack the bolt loose but enough that there is still resistance on the leaver, then pump the leaver in about 1/2 way and tighten the bolt again. All done.

Some other things to remember, there should be no bubbles coming out in the fluid from the hose, if there is you still have air in the brake lines. Go through the above steps again to remove the air. Also bleed your lines again after your first ride, there may be some air built up in the lines.

I don’t think I misses anything but Im sure someone will pick it up.

just pump your brake lever up and hold it while someone loosens the bleeder screws on the caliper to let pressure and fluid out, then tighten the screw before releasing the lever. repeat until you think your new fluid has reached the calipers...

do this. and make sure you go from the top to the bottom. sometimes you will get a bubble in your lines. basically you go from the resivior down and loosen and tighten each bolt in the method explained above.

start from the line closest to the cyclinder and work your way down from there.
