Re: Wobbles!!
i hear ya, on my 954 when it gets close to balance point it wobbles side to side pretty bad. im not moving my body, but im running probably high 30's psi in the rear. what can i do to fix this? lower psi?
Re: Wobbles!!
i used to woblle bad when i got it to a certain point but i run about 20 psi and ive gotten smoother on the throttle i think that makes a big diff. just think when your on the throttle smooth opperator

Re: Wobbles!!
if its droppin when you let off a bit your not quite there yet or the wind is holdin you up and the wind lets off so you have to bring it up again but that could be it or you just need to keep on the throttle a lil more to keep it there

Re: Wobbles!!
when you get to were you can hold it at one speed then your there. but anyway try droppin the psi in the tire 5 pounds at a time till the wobbles go away it could be body position to but youll figure it out i went through the same thing till i got it down good luck any more ? just holla
Re: Wobbles!!
when you first get a wobble, your body reacts, trying to correct the wobble, you will put more weight on one footpeg or the other, then it will wobble. If you focus and try to equally distribute the weight on your pegs they should go away, it works for me. also let air out of that tire if you want to go slower. i run 15 lbs on my 954 and have not gotten a wobble yet. for highway stand ups I stay in 3rd gear at about 60mph at 5000 rpms.
Re: Wobbles!!
never had this prob. on a stand up, but it happens on sit downs once in awhile, im at 18 psi in the rear and it doesnt seem to happen as often on my 900rr. and never in a stand up. alot of times if your real high in the rpm's it will cause the wobble, try using a little back brake while your up to slow it down like 5mph and it should go away. IT DOESNT TAKE ALOT OF BACK BRAKE TO SLOW IT DOWN IF YOUR AT THE BALANCE POINT. just a little even pressure while your still on the throttle. you should be covering it anyways,

Re: Wobbles!!
The hight of the wheelie fluctuates with your throttle input. As it goes up, more of your weight goes to your left foot. When it goes down, your weight transfers to your right foot. Sudden left-right weight transfers start the wobble. So dont do that.
Re: Wobbles!!
what psi should i run for highway then? i tried it with like 28 last night and it seemed more stable. also a lot of my wheelies are going to the left, im pretty sure its not my body position cuz i can hang to the right and it seems like it still goes left, could this be caused by uneven tire wear? anyone else's wheelies drifting??
Re: Wobbles!!
i run 18psi all the time, and alot of times your hanging off the right wich means in advertantly your pressing on the left peg, causing you to drift left. instead of hanging off, try turning the bars the opposite direction you want the bike to go, this turns your shoulders to the side you want to go to and is usually more than enough to steer that bitch.
