does any one know how to turn the idle down on a 95 zx7 i took it to the shop and got a tune up a new chain and new gaskets but it now idles at like 2700 and its driving me insane

Its easy bro!! On the right side of the bike (from looking behind it) Where you pour in the oil there is a little **** thing hanging on a cable. Its black....Have your bike on idleing.... Turn the **** counter clockwise (Left) to idle down...Other way for up.... You will hear the revving lower...Dont make it idle lower than 1000 RPMs tho....And do not adjust the idle until bike is warmed up either bro....Good Luck!!

 

idle at 2700? that sounds perfect. its a great idle for practicing no handers. if your geared and at that point yet.
