need help with a 95 zx6r

ok i have a 95 zx6r and it will go in to 1st and 2nd but it will not want to go in to 3erd it will go in but it will fight me like crazy if any one knows about this plz help me out

Sounds like you have a bent/broken shift fork for 3rd gear. My buddy had that same thing with 2nd gear and it costed him around $1,000 for parts and labor to fix it cause you gotta rip the tranny apart. Adam
