Question Home made CrashCages

I allways thought crash cages make the bike look very agressive, have also looked on the web for some but of course there isn't one for the 97 Aprilia RS-50 "Chesterfield".

Some time back, I messed up an endo (Can do real nice endos, but everybody crashes) and I noticed how usefull it would have been if I had a crash cage (can a bike then also be called "cager"??).

So, can you help me with building one by my self ?
You could post pics or just describe, where/how they are fixed, what material is best to use and what I have to be carefull with.

I added some pictures to show u how my bike looks like from close up.
