Re: licence plate hider?

i am thinking about building a frame that flips backwards.. it would be pretty easy... a hinge and a solenoid with a toggle switch... probably will cost like $20

dude, two words zip ties- check out my foto gallery. ties allow you to reach back and flip that plate up. 3.00 dollar ties versus 150.00 gizmo.hhmmm. Mine works so sweet. just drill two holes in your rear fender to put the ties in. :YEAH

Re: licence plate hider?

All you really need is a hinged plate holder and a choke cable mounted in the right place. Just remember that it will flip back easier than forwards, so maybe mount it a little farther under the tail.
