Yeah it depends on the road. I have had sections of the same road lcok my tire and slide for a few feet skidding the tire. It'll leave a black "peelout" like mark on the ground. It all depends. You might have his a dusty patch or road or ????

Try a different location when your tires are nice and hot and see what happens.

I have some shitty tires I get for free and are used. Since winter has passed, I think I got a weathered tire and sometimes when I try to wheelie its peel out on me. Its more annoying than anything.

I would keep doing them. Just be careful. Do enough "exercises" in different locations to see if that is the actual problem.....

Re: DAM STOppies!!!

My guess is you don't have enough weight on the front wheel. Try leaning all your weight forward and right as the forks begin to compress bounce on the seat to lift the rear.

Re: DAM STOppies!!!

I prefer pilots or M1's. I also drop my pressure to about 25psi for more surface area when doing stoppies. I seems to work for me.

Re: DAM STOppies!!!

i'm convinced it's the cold weather. cause i was out yesterday in the middle of the day and everything was fine, but when the sun started to go down i started to have trouble with stoppies and wheels, tires just kept slidin'.
