all kinds of ways....

i see a lot of people say "power" wheelies, do they mean the acceleratin method while bouncin it. i cant bounce, maybe cause i aint doin it right? in first all i do is get it to the midrange close the throttle and open it all the way. do i need to bounce while i do this to get it up higher? i'm goin to try cluthin it later(in second). BTW i'm on a stock 600. one day i'm goin to -1 in front and +2 in the rear. itll be a while. tryin to save up for a D&D slip-on!

Re: all kinds of ways....

When ppl say power wheelies I think there refering to bigger bikes...Gixxer 1000, Aprilia mille. With those two bikes just twist open throttle in 1st or 2nd and up she comes I say those 2 bikes cuz there the only ones I've rode.

With the bounce technique it all about timing. Since your doing it in first gear if you bounce and hit the throttle right it should come up real quick. Just by getting high into the rpms, letting off the throttle and whacking it back on would bring it up in first gear to give you a feel for the front end coming up.

ehhh, power wheelies to me always meant not taking the bike to balance point and just powering it up by the acceleration until you hit redline or shift.
