Re: would u recomend a crash cage?

the 905's loop is 2 piece's w/ a small tube running between the motor and header to join them and can't be removed w/o a few hours of work.

The F.I. cage's loop can be removed by taking i think 4 bolts loose, so you can still tear up the twisties.

This is what i've read and seen on a few F4I's... I personally like the 905 cage, as it seems alot more robust and more forgiving on some hard hits.

.

this is a TERRIBLE misconception, started by all the people sponsored by FI. to take off a 905 cage, it takes 10-15 minutes. its only 4 bolts.

to take off a FI cage, it takes about 10-15 minutes, its only 4 bolts.

to take off a powers cage, 10-15 minutes, only 4 bolts.

same with mxd, 10-15 minutes, 4 bolts.

the one and ONLY advantage as far as time is concerned would be the initial install. if you know what you are doing, the FI cage requires only 2 holes at the most to cut into your plastics.

the other 3 companies, (MXD,905, powers) have 4 holes you MIGHT have to drill out.

PLEASE do not tell everyone it takes HOURS of work to take off and put on a cage. this is FALSE information. thanks, Jeff @ MXD

I like the FI cage. Strong and you can take the loop out which will take a few minutes if you want to hit the twisties.

Or you...get gear and definatly a back protector.

This is Taylorman from Psychogang. I watched the wreck as it happened...very little damage to the bike. That was the day I decided I needed a cage!

As for the cage, I went with the FI for a few reasons. One, you can replace the pieced individually as you bust them, and you will. Two, the price. $alesman from Slow-Motions Stunt Team can beat the price out of just about anyone on the FI cages. Drop him an e-mail at http://www.slow-motions.com/homepage...mode=email&u=2
or go to http://slow-motions.com and look him up. They also have a section on stunt gear for sale. I almost guarantee you can't beat his price, but hurry, he only can do these deals for another 5 months or so, then they are back to the origional prices.
