Rolling burnouts

I want to get down the art of a rolling burnout, This might sound dumb but should i start practicing when the road is wet? I figure it might be easier to learn if i can get the back tire spining easier to get the feel of it before i try it and have the tire hook up. Thanks

Re: Rolling burnouts

I'd say no because with the ground being wet your front tire is more likely to come out from under you.

Re: Rolling burnouts

Steps to get down in order to do a rolling burn out-
First just burn out while your standing still with the front brake all the way on
Once you comfortable with that let off the brake a little and walk the bike while burning out
Once you comfortable with that put your feet on the pegs and burn out.

I heard that you should start learing in a field with short grass. Once you get the hang of it you'll be better on the road cuz you have to use better balance in the grass cuz its not flat ground and if you fall the grass will be softer to fall on.

Re: Rolling burnouts

Remember to lean forward as much as possible so your chest is on the wind screen. If you want to do a straight line burn out rev the **** out of it, for circles keep the revs down until you get the hang of it, I crashed alot trying circles because I was reving it to high and the *** end comes around in a hurry.

Re: Rolling burnouts

wut if ur riding at about 8mph..1st gear...grab in clutch....lean alllll your weight forward.....twist the throttle close to the rev limiter.....and pop the clutch out.....will that give u a foward,fast-accelerated burnout?????or will that loop the bike??? on a stock f4i....i only been riding for alil more than 3mos..

if yall dont know wut im talking about....i just want to max accelerate my bike that would cause the rear tire to smoke alil bit

thanx

I learned mine on an F4I. You just have to lean far forward and get used to the feel of the brake/throttle. Whateva you do DONT LET GO OF THE BRAKE when you are burnin rubber. You will be on your *** faster than you can say it. F4I does not have much bottom end torque so you have to give it a little bit of revs. Just keep practicing. You'll get it.

its not really a burnout....its just acceleratin sooooo fast that the back tire smokes a tad bit....i still need front brake for that?

Re: Rolling burnouts

umm.....depends if the tire is cold or not. If you go out and rev it up and drop it when its cold it will spin, but doing it with a lot of RPMS with a hot tire will just put you on your *** before you can say ****.
