I got an 03 GSXR 600 and my fuel injection light keeps coming on. Every time the FI light comes on the engine breaks up real bad and I loose all power. I finally got the engine to pull codes 26 and 27. Does anyone know what these codes mean. This is the first time ive been able to pull them and the dealer has had my bike in for this problem 4 times. If i can find what the codes mean ill fix it my self.
So any ideas will help. thanks


Oh yeah and if no one knows about the codes does any one know about Lemon Laws?

 

CODE 26 or 27?????

 

code 26 and 27 are ignition system codes. 26 is for a problem with the number 3 coil....27 is a problem with number 4. Check the coils (spark plug caps) for cracks in the plastic under the rubber...I have seen this occour after a crash. Also make sure that the wires go to the right coils....they are labled....make sure they aren't swithched around...When did this problem start?????
