Question 929 gearing

Just bought a 01/929.
My first priority is doing 40+mph tank-work in second gear(highchairs/tankers) BUT I want to learn to do tail-drags and other low-speed stuff.
What is the correct gearing for this????
Thanks

Re: 929 gearing

I've got an '01 929 too. I went down one in the front to a 15 and up 10 in the back to a 53. Seems to work pretty good but I will most likely be going bigger in the rear.

Re: 929 gearing

well it all depends on you what you like how it feels, but you can gear the hell outta a 929 and still have some decent top speed because its a liter bike. i'd go -1 +10
