need help

how do you kno when the fuel is on?? switch up, down or to the side? i have a 99 cbr600f4 and cant ****ING FIGURE IT OUT!!! IM SO PISSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks

im thinkin its down.. down= on side ti side= off and up= reserve.. i think.. hahaha
