I ride every day, 2 bikes, and every month I put about a thousand miles on each bike (only had the GSXR for a month)... That's 2000 miles of riding a month, it does feel light to me now. I'm not worried ever about dropping it at any stop light or in a parking lot, I even go one footed at stop lights now.. The only time I did drop it was an accident because the sidestand didn't extend all the way and it was dark so I couldn't see.

I'm not attempting to be a stunner here, I just want to learn to wheelie for 100-200 feet.

Am I going to fast or what? I take it up to about 9k, close the throttle, and then yank the throttle as quick as I can but the wheel doesn't get off the ground?
I suggest cluthing it in second. Clutching it rather than powering it gives you a little more time to find the balance point.

i love when people first talk about how they cant wheelie then they learn how to wheelie then all of a sudden i'm getting it to "almost" balance point. how the hell do you know where balance point is if you've never hit it. your just saying hey i got my wheel a foot off the ground for 3 seconds look at me.

I have no trouble with mine. Hit 7,000 roll of and snap it back on. I can even just roll mine on from a standstill. Once it hits 7,000 it comes up on its own.
