lol ive had problems with fhl for a while now, finnaly people are catching on that he is an ******* :YEAH if i knew him i woulda gave him da boot long time ago. btw, i dont roll throttle back when i dump i just keep it where it was when i dumped it.... seems to work fine for me. if i was at high enough rpm then i shoots up and i keep on the trottle at steady pace and i roll em for couple sec. but then agin it only a couple sec's and i suck majorly on popin my bike up. i wouldent takemy advice because its problee the wrong way but i was just tellin yall how i get em up oh yea and umm *** FHL!!!

 

Hey Foxy250 - my ex g/f is from T.O. too - do you know her? Shes a great stunter: she did an unexpected stoppie on our 2 year relasionship, followed by a huge, shredding burnout on my heart!

 

Thats because you need to perform the service buliten posted by suzuki, its an oil block off plate to keep oil pressure high under hard braking and long wheelies. I have 2 SV's Haven't spun a bearing yet. I have 20k on one stunt the **** out of it and race the other at the track.

OIL BLOCK OFF PLATE!

SV's are perfect stunt bikes.

SV1000 should be fine, Corey from D-Aces stunts the **** out of a TL1000 and thats a tank compared to a new SV1000

Yeah, my bike is a 2003, so is that oil block off plate something they fixed for free or what?

 

Dizzo from scooter trash stunts an sv650 and that kids got mad skills on it...
I think he means an an oil pan baffle that keeps the oil closer to the oil pickup - kinda like the gixxers have right?

 

So does anyone know if my '03 SV1000S have this oil blocker or whatever?

I install this oil plate on every motor I build,recalled year or not.
it closes hole between cases right under crank.
if you dont close hole there is posibility that crank rotation will suck oil up and away from oil pump,which is reason rod bearings are going bad on race motors.

the ones that were recalled had bigger hole.they blocked part of hole with plate.those before recall had internal plate.this are motors I install recall plate on top of internal plate.
those after recall have case casted different so internal plate is gone.
both plates can be seen in service manual.
recall plate can be installed without splitting cases.you do have to take flywheel out.
you can see plate if you take left side cover(generator cover) off.it is under flywheel(not the one right to flywheel)and goes inside thru holes in cases.
if you race and dont have this plate I would recomend installing one,regardless of motor year.

I cant believe your getting that thing up in 3rd gear. I guess I should try cluthcing and standing up.......maybe it will come up in third then

 

Even with the oil block off plate I keep my oil all the way to the top of the site window all the time. SHe burns a little oil but I watch it and make sure its always full. If you do that you shouldn't have any problems. I think its burning a little oil because I have a couple leaky valve guides. No big deal.

As for the wheelie department, man I love the bike, it wheelies like a dream. I can bounce it up in second or clutch it up. 3rd gear wheelies aren't that hard either, just preload and bounce a little and she powers rite up.

I can only do long stand ups though, I always seem to bring it down too early when I'm sitting down

Now the stoppies are the tricky part, scary man, SCARY. You have be going pretty damn fast to roll a long one and I know I'm going **** myself up sooner or later. :YEAH

 

I'm pretty good at stoppies, just haven't had the nerve or know-how on doing a rolling one. So what's the secret to the rolling stoppies?

 

Chop, clutch, bounce a bit and up you go. Stock gearing is a bit hard to bring it up in 5th, but I do it occasionally. 4th is my favorite cause It takes you into three digits, and it comes up real easy every time.
