Re: wheelie 600rr

I have one, and its really easy cuz of the engines responsiveness.
learn to clutch it up.
roll out in 1st at about 17-20 mph, lean back, clutch in, rev to about 9-11,000 rpm, clutch out. Be careful, and use the back brake, clutch, or let go of the throttle to bring you down if you come up too quick. Good hunting.

Thumbs up Re: wheelie 600rr

here's my In 1st gear, roll between 5-6krpm, cover clutch with only one finger and 'slip' the clutch(just enough to disengage/quick in-out motion), and give a little gas. Instant wheelie. COVER BACK BRAKE...like everyone says.
Oh, invest in a damper & cage/sliders. Saved my *** a few times l8r

For the RR you gots to drill some holes in the fairings.... try to get it done unless you're goot with circular bits on a drill.

Re: wheelie 600rr

How much is a damper gonna help with wheelies? I'm really most worried about setting it down and getting a lot of wobble. I don't want to eat it, lol.

Re: wheelie 600rr

to be honest..... read all of the reviews... the 600RR is prolly the only bike that doesn't need a damper. I have a buddy that put one on his and it actually made it suck... it was a top end one too. I've put my RR dow all stupid wobble-wobble style when I was first trying wheelies on it and has not problem; it always stood right back up, never felt nervous or nothing.

There is no need to have someone do it for you. Just measure from each of the holes where the plastics attach to the bike to the middle of the frame slider. Then just mark it out on your plastics and wherever the lines intersect is where you wanna drill. Good luck
