1st gear, slip the clutch (dont drop it), try to do it from a dead stop if possible, +5 is perfect on the 929 for slow rolls!

Yup..that's what I do w/ my 954. Better then getting them welded. Cuzz if you go down...you still want them to fold up..instead of into your leg.

Re: How do you start your slow wheelies?

you can put a bolt thru and tighten it up to, it'll still fold up if it lands on you

I gotta agree, just about every GSXR I've riddin the pegs sucked. Never had any problems with the ol 929, but I've see alot of guys run bolts like F.P.L.K.S. had mentioned. Good luck!

Re: How do you start your slow wheelies?

i have had my pegs welded for some time now. i prefer it actually. i think that they act as frame sliders when i bail. i also did a solid peg conversion which i would recommend to any serious stunna......just my $.02

lean back further. i've never had my peg fold. you don't stand on top of the peg, lean back and put pressure forwards instead of a downward pressure on it and it'll be fine.

i do'nt trust locking it into place, i've saw a peg stab into someone's shin and it's not pretty.

oh ya, dead stop, clutch it hard in first. don't dump or the tire will spin, you let it out hella fast but controled. jumped right out from under me and only gains like 4-5mph and it's rocking slow.
