wrecked a 12 and the stator cover blew to pieces, piece of the case broke off and all the oil poured out. now i dont think oil should have come out of there. any body else have this problem? need to know if i ****ed up sumthin big. please reply
so - question being if breaking the case is big. Yeah, its not to good! Have to get someone to weld the aluminum back so you can get a gasket back on there.
B from Reckless just did that, had to have the magneto side case welded so the cover would fit right. Ive got the mack daddy welder if you need someone.

i droped my R6 right on the Stator cover and all the oil came out! i was lucky and didnt crack the case, so i put a new cover and gasket on it. filled the oil and have been stunting with no problems.

Oil is non-conductive, so it does'nt matter electrical stuff is submerged in it. And neither is gasoline,i.e. you fuel pump is submerged in it.
