WTF, cannot wheelie my 99 gsxr750

Ive tried many different ways. First gear roll on and off then back on. The tire comes up but I dont feel comfortable doing it this way so I stopped. Moved on to clutching it.

In 2nd gear going about 40. Pull the clutch it rev to 10k & hold while dumping the clutch. Nadda happens, just a little jerk. I thought it would have came up. Any suggestions?

sit in first gear at a dead stop holding the clutch in, redline that bitch and then dump the clutch, works like a champ

Clutch it up. try 2nd gear about 7k, use two fingers on clutch barely pull it in just enough to slip and AT THE SAME TIME rev it up and let it back out while still giving it a little gas. You are seperating the motion it is one, not pull clutch in, rev then dump.
Let me know how it goes

Its only got 9k miles. What kind of tune up would it need? I havent done any hard riding besides just starting to try wheelies as of recently.

Ya dude it powers up easy...especially with the roll on / roll of tecnique. Just that people say I should learn clutching it. I find it way harder to clutch it. I put in about 2 hours today pulling popcorn wheelies with the roll method. When I do the roll off method I am not going full throttle when I get back on it, should I be pinning the throttle?

power wheelies are not really gonna help you that much if you wanna sustain it

Hey seriously I had these same problems with a Gsxr 750 2002.. I hate that bounce and pull bullshi t .... Just buy a sproket and then use the clutch... sprokets arent that exspensive!!!

sprocket schmocket, that bike will come up like a hard on with ease, its all technique young one.

power wheelies suck so toss the roll on/off blah blah

Clutch it up, second gear .. maybe 40-50mph, trick is .. stay on the throttle, Im sure your clutching and letting off the gas during of right after, the bike needs rpms to climb. when the clutch re-engages you should be adding throttle.

now grab your weener get on your bike and start fukln it up!!

shift your weight to the back of the seat this will help. Give it 3/4 throttle and slip the clutch, one of the biggest problems people have is they get scared and let of the gas, just keep on the gas till you get to the point you want to be at. It should come up with ease unless your clutch is fried. Sprockets do work easier, clutching wheelies are better than powering it up. anyone can power up a wheelie. it just takes practice. after you learn to wheelie you will think to your self damn thats easy. keep practicing youll get it. better to do a thousand crappy wheelies than one looped out one.
