balance point BS!!!!!

OK. I know there a lot of "newbies" and people learning to stunt (wheelies inparticular). I see post about bikes w/ "i like it due to it's low bp" or " those are sketchy due to how high the bp is" . IT'S BS! BP is just that... a point! If your in a bp, then yes, u can easily flip than if u where power wheelin, ect....! Weather the specific bike seems higher or lower! So another point i'm making do not judge how good your wheelieing from pix, thats bs too

actually..........its not a point.........its an area.......if it was a point it would be extremely difficult to find on a 400 pound machine at 100 mph and pratically noone would be doing them........I think the word balance POINT, is gay............

Balance area? Well yeah I guess that you operate within a area when riding a so called 'BP-wheelie', always going back and forth from a bit lower to a bit higher than the actual balance point.

But any bike will have a balance point. If there's no input to the bike (throttle, engine-braking, braking, change of bodyposition etc.), and it still just sitts there, rolling along in a wheelie, it's at the BP. And that is a point, just a bit lower or higher, and the bike would fall that way. So a real BP-wheelie would be one where you pop the front in the air, pull the cluch in, get off the brake and then roll along in a wheelie. I've had this happen to me one or two times. I always hit the brake or throttle according to the bike starting to fall backwards or forwards. And sometimes you just hit it just the right ammount for the bike to get to the BP, then it just sitts there for a few sec's before finally falling backwards or forwards. I don't think anyone could do this consistantly tho, or maybe some could but not for any great distance. That said, I remember seeing a video where A.C. Farias did some short no footed, no handed wheelies

So balance area or zone or whatever would probably be more correct... Because normally one's working in a area around the BP. On the other hand, constantly keeping the bike at the BP is like the ideal of 'the balance area wheelie' right?

Did that make any sense at all

talking trash!!!

hey if you don't want to read post about "technical bullshit" or people's legitimate questions about stunting then keep on talking **** to newbies and this sport will continue to be the punk rock of motorcycling. I swear people can't stick together on anything. If you don't like the forum then don't post. personally I think it's a great place to freely talk about stunting with getting harrassed for tearing up my bike and whatnot.

**** the balance point, if it ain't a power wheelie ur doin it right, if the rev limiter brings u down it's wrong, bp/bz/ba it's a FEELING, not nessecarily a position
