nevermind, i found the perfect material....

for those of you wanting to build your own...
go to lowes/home depot, go to plumbing section, the have 3/4" steel pipe used for running gas lines, i is extreamly strong, so you will have to find a hydralic bender, but they got eveything there you may need.

total cost for all supplies-$32
bending-$5.00 (elecrtic store)
welding $15 hr, total 1 hr
hardware-$5.00
rubber end caps-$6.00

total spent-$63.00

powder coating$50

total investment-less than 120, which is almost the same price as some peoples 12 bars!!!

dont have it right now, it is being finshed at the welder, then i have to get it over to the powder coating place, they told me they have some stuff they are going to do in a few days, if i drop it off to them, they will get it back asap, and i gotta get my bike finished soon, so i can go to florida stunt wars...

i will post up some pics in a few days if you can wait that long

i was going to weld some sliders on my 1992 GSXR 750 but i got no where to weld them. if i put them on the frame above the fairing it will be to high. any ideas of where i should attach them. i got a very blurry picture but u can make out where the frame is an there is nothing to weld onto below? has anyone had the same problem and they worked out how to overcome it?
