What is considered to have a higher difficulty level; a Christ or a stoppie?

If you can pull off a Jesus Christ and get away with it I give you mad props. I tried to imitate god once, but managed to get a huge bruise on the forehead and failed to walk through the glass door.

 

I'll do stoppies all day but wont touch a christ, tried it once though. Any way it might look cool for video but it's not a fun trick, in my opinion.

 

I was thinking the same thing. That's why we call 'em Scare Crows. A little more PC if you know what i mean!!
Oh yeah, and stoppie/endo not to difficult. A rolling endo, a little harder.

Christ are one thing are fun, because once you learn them, you learn elevators, then deactivators, and learn how to balance out the bike while your jumping around. As far as skill, all it is, is having the guts to stand up. Endo is harder by far.

 

Christ is harder than a pop-a-stoppie...but a rolling stoppie is harder than a Christ if you ask me. I can do Christs all day, but still not doing elevators or any of that other **** yet. My last attempt at a Christ was three weeks ago when I did it one footed and lost my balance. Jumped off, did like 4 combat rolls, and got up to watch my bike hit a tree. But it's a 929 so only thing that happened was the front rim got bent.

 

good thread could someone on a highly technical skill level take the time to post tricks by there difficulty level, im curious as to where i would stand...here is my list:

christ air
rolling stoppie (75ft or less)
highchair
flamingo
nac nac standups
ironcross
highchair stoppie
rollin burnouts
360 burnouts
2nd gear and up standups (as long as i want them to last)

and im working on my slow **** now, as of now i can roll it at bp for 10-15 ft at like 5-8 mph (then it wobbles and falls)

my fav trick, is to be at 60 mph side by side another bike, and stand on my rear pegs, in third and clutch it up, it comes way way up, and then looking over and watching thier reactions!!!

 

**** i can consitently endo roung 550 feet and i still think christ airs are "scarier"... the way i see it you have 10x more control of the bike when in an endo than you do while standing on the tank... its definatly not a matter of riding skill as so much a matter of balance and guts... anyone can do a christ air.... but then again anyone can do a 600foot endo too... just a matter of doing it... if i can anyone can...

freaking christ are soo easy. they were one of the first stunts i did. didn't really take skill just gotta have some *****. more ***** than brains is my motto :P

 

Some of the coolest looking tricks are low on difficulty, but high on courage.

 

It's really hard to say which is harder:

Rider A stands on the back seat, jumps to highchair, spinderella, gorilla roll off the back

or

Rider B does 5 circle wheelies with no throttle hand

Both are advanced tricks, but which is more difficult? That's not so easy to answer. The easy question is which one gets more cheers from the crowd. Rider A.

 

I'd agree with dirty B. It seems as though as a rider the more difficult in skill of a trick (like circles) do not get as much of a response as acrobatic tricks from the crowds. As far as a rider standpoint christ takes ***** & balance, & endos take ***** & skill (well some kinda skill for a sweet one)

 

As a whole I would just like to say how much I love when a thread develops into meaningful conversation, and not just post whoring. Thank you to all. My motivation for this post was honestly (as ridiculous as it may sound) simply to accurately depict my “best stunt” as prompted in the profile section here. In my riding I, as the ‘CHOZEN 1’ says on his web-site, “always take baby steps”. So when trying to set the next goal I am always figuring what feels like the next NEW thing I could feasibly execute, or more so what is the first mechanic of a new trick, and let me get used to that action before I graduate to the next step. Sometimes though, mostly after I’m done watching any of the ‘masters’ videos, I become obsessed with studying one particular trick even though I know at the time I may not have advanced to that skill yet. In those thoughts I had always thought, “man wouldn’t a list of stunts by difficulty & description be invaluable so as to just work progressively down the list by difficulty!?”. Even when realizing that every person has individually unique talents that may make his/her ability to execute a particular trick appear less difficult regardless of the consensus’ opinion on difficulty. I know personally stoppies come more natural to me then bp-wheelies, but I believe the consensus would say that stoppies are of higher difficulty. All this time I had always thought about writing a list of stunts by general difficulty & description, but unfortunately I can’t execute every stunt nor do I even know the names of most of them so my ability to write this list would be marginal at best. I mean even in this thread alone there are so many names being thrown around that I'm at a loss, but similar to CSTMGSXR's request does anyone know of a web-site that has such a list, or better yet are any of the elite here willing to begin such a labor intensive list…?

Unfortunately I'm incredibly literal almost to the point of flaw, but I interpreted the prompt as "best stunt" and not "favorite stunt". That's the only reason I asked. My favorite are definitely stoppies, or rolling stoppies as everyone seems to be calling them. It's just that I got the impression that Christ's are looked upon as a higher difficulty trick although I am questioning that now.

 

I prefer the Christ air.... seems a little less talent needy then the stoppie
