I looped the Kan-o-tuna
naw hes right the bp on the katana is ridiculously high, which is why i was shocked when he said he looped it bouncing it up in second gear, its a pretty difficult bike to learn on, you should be rocking the fizzer in no time. good luck on getting a new bike

[B]The balance point isn't at almost 12, you're not leaned back countering the weight enough. The bike will come up completely stock, trust me, "Other E" does it on his and I can personally vouch that he sux and his bike runs like total crap.
I'm not dissing you dude, just based on your original post, which, I could be wrong about, I'm wrong quite a bit so it would be no shock, you appeared to still be at the lower end of the learning curve on the katana.
How many dudes named Eric are gonna get up in this thread? Nah, but you're right I'm nice at a lot of other things but wheelies are my weakness. I'm gonna back off 'em for a while and practice on a dirtbike until I get more comfortable. I'm still bikeless right now but hopefully a set of 20 inch rims will change the dude's mind. I swear, the sacrifices we make to keep stuntin. It's really too cold to ride here anymore but I gots to have a bike regardless ASAP.

[B] Yeah it's getting too cold to ride here also. I got mine out today for an hour or so. I took my five year old daughter for a ride so I didn't do any stunts. Another friend of mine stopped by and he got him a power commander for his triumph TT 600. It made all the difference in the world. We are talking about a bike that started out way down on power, and now can do second gear wheelies pretty easy.
I'm sure the colder it gets, the more I'm going to start getting cabin fever. I'll go out to the garage and at least start the bike and let it run for a while. I'm sure you are going nuts not having a bike, so I feel for ya.

Most likely he frooze up. I say that because even if you get at 12:00 you can always tap a little bit of back break and get the bike back down.
It was just one of those things...
Well Ive only rode a Katana, its my first bike. Ive had it about 7 months now and I can wheelie it just fine. Check out the pics in my gallery. Dont get me wrong, it has taken some time to get it but the Kat, although heavy and high BP, can wheelie with the best of them. It takes a lot of practice and lik they said, take it slow. Good Luck with whatever you do. And for the record, Ive never laid mine down.
