why not use a wide 12 bar

why not use a wide 12 bar

why dont you guys use a wide 12 bar
it looks like the bars that most people have is about 10" wide why not make it like a 18" or 20" wide
with it being wider wouldnt it be more stable???

Sure I think it would be more stable if you hit perfectly. I also think that the bar will have a lot more leverage to twist the bike (and quick) if you dont hit the entire surface flat.
