balance point on a dirtbike
balance point on a dirtbike
Is the balance point on a dirtbike relative to that of a streetbike?I'm referring to a yz 100.Is it easier to find on a streetbike cuz if it's not then I need a lot more practice b4 I start on mine.

yea, I'm wondering the exact same thing kat
I PMed Nags who has a XR100 like mine and I asked him if a wheelie bar is a good idea for that bike, he said stock is the best way to go.
I never got a chance to ask him if its easier to roll a wheelie with the left foot on the bar and right on the brake.
I asked him if it's worthwhile to gear it and he told me not to. He knows his **** so I'll take his word on it.
A dirtbike is so easy to loop, it makes me scared to get near the BP on the streetbike.
I've never wheelied anything with my left foot in the bar so I dont really know. From what I hear it tends to get wobbly, but you dont get arm pump. As for looping the dirtbike... Just learn to use the rear brake and you wont loop
xr100 is dangerous....i crash everytime i go out...thats why im staying away from pavement till i got it on lock....i found the easiest way to ride long wheelies is hanging my left leg close to the ground while working the brake with my right...i dont know if its because i weight 200 lbs on a little dirt bike but if i dont ride like that my wheelies always fall to the side
i still cant scrape the tail though...is it even possible nags?i can ride high enough for the gas to come out the back and it stall but i cant get it to scrape...

We went out practicing tonight, I ride the bp longer every night.
