I took my 600 double R to the track for the first time yesterday. Running stock, first time I have ever raced in my life my lowest time was a 7.5 at about 108mph in an eighth. The Problem is, I am slow off the line, it kinda... bogs down when i really try to get on it, or just goes to spinning the back tire if I try to get my revs up and drop the clutch, when I’m moving and get to about 5 grand I can really wind it out though. I want to change up my gear ratio to get more torque for stunting, wont that make me stupid-fast off the line too? Any of you take your bikes to the track? Is 1down 2up a good ratio for drag racing it? Think it will shave some time off?
