How do u do a 12?
well, first, in stunt discussion and "how to" try to look around for topics. i know it's hard to search cause it won't let you search for "12" because it doesn't have 4 letters or something.
anyways, stock gearing 12's are hard....so usually you gear your bike. my 929 is 1 down 5 up, but i'm goign to stock front and 10 up this week. it also helps to have yoru idle turned up. i use 4500 but you can use anywhere from 2500-5000. start around 2500-3000 then slowly work up. Also, lower tire pressure definately. I run 15psi in my tire. try 15-20 psi. that will make the bike more stable.
ok, now that you're all setup and ready. get the bike in first and get your left foot on the rear peg (i think standups are easier to control IMHO). Let the bike get a steady roll, but really slow, so you're barely moving but it's holding the bike up. Let the clutch out fast and smooth and lean back locking your elbows as you roll on some throttle. The bike should snap up pretty fast. When the bike comes up make sure you are on that rear brake. You'll probably ahve to practice snapping it up and just pushing the rear brake and bringing it back down to get used to using that rear brake. Once you get used to snapping it up vertical in one motion and using that rear brake then you can slow it down. Just let the clutch out hard and smooth and once it's up really high just slowly ease the brake, it takes a lot of practice to get hte right pressure and balance.
hope that helps. if you need anymore help just let us know. I can better answer individual questions you have about doing them if you have something specific you need help on. Oh ya, a camera will help you see what you are doing wrong and try to get ahold of one of the teams in the chicago area to give you a hand.

kyle_pbz runs 2 down and like 2 up or something on his 1k. I wouldn't go anymore than about 1 down 10 up or so otherwise that's overkill.
stock bikes are 12able. search through the site. CBOdmi was pimping some stock bikes in a thread w/ pics. HELL... ONE WAS AN FZR
you'll do the trick faster but it's doable. granted gears make it MUCH safer to learn as when you eat **** you'll be going slower.
Are you guys at the point of wheelying w/ out accelerating? Are you using the rear brake and slowing your wheelies down? If you have those two ingredients and you don't crash regularly while doing wheelies then all you have to do is over throttle w/ less brake and then brake hard late. do it a little more until the tail touches and try not to get hurt
good luck!
